Bookmaking Project:
- What did you learn to do in this project?
When doing this project, I learned how to glue, fold, and create/design a book. I learned how to decorate the pages according to my theme as well.
- What materials/media did you learn to use?
While doing this project, I used many different materials and media. I used glue to help keep the pages together, and scissors to cut out the cover pages. I used many medias, such as pens, pencils, markers, copic markers, sharpie markers, watercolors and watercolor pencils, and gel pens
- In your opinion- how did your project turn out?
I really do like my project! I love the theme I chose and the various colors I used. I think it turned out very well!
Paper Sculpture:
- What did you learn to do in this project?
While doing this project, I learned that it takes a lot of time in order to roll enough pieces of paper in order to make a significant tower. It took me forever just to get the amount that I needed!
- What materials/media did you learn to use?
While doing this project, I used pieces of paper and glue to keep the rolls together. I also used paper clips to hold the paper together while the rolls dried.
- In your opinion- how did your project turn out?
I don't really like how this project turned out. It's a bit uneven and strange looking. I like the colors I used though. But overall, it's not really how I imaged it to turn out.
Repousse Project
- What did you learn to do in this project?
I learned how to create indents in the copper piece in order to make a design. I also learned how to indent a part of the project even further than what I had before.
- What materials/media did you learn to use?
I mainly used the wooden flat tools in order to great smooth impressions. I also used the yellow handled tools in order to "outline" my design and create smaller indents
- In your opinion- how did your project turn out (or is turning out?)
So far, I really like the way it is turning out. I'm happy with the way it looks and I think it will look awesome when it is done!! I love the bubble effect that I put in the background.
